Race report from Team Associated (by Ray Munday):

Munday and Rogers win for Team Associated at Victorian State Titles

The 2015 Victorian State Titles was held at the fantastic Mildura RC track, which is famous for its awesome red clay surface and flowing layouts. 150 entries made their way from around the country for this event, which was located six hours north of Melbourne, Australia.

Starting off muddy after a Thursday night shower, the track grooved up through the weekend and by finals time had an awesome blue groove but was bumpy, making setup a real challenge with the track improving round by round.

Team Associated had a strong weekend on this tough track. In 2WD Mod, Team Associated/Reedy factory driver Ray Munday successfully defended his title with TQ and 1st, but was put under tough pressure by local hero Mark Rogers (2nd) and young gun Cameron Zammit (3rd), all running RC10B5M Team Kits. There were six B5Ms in the A final, which took a clean sweep of the top four positions.

In SCT, Ray and Mark continued their battle, with Ray taking TQ but Mark winning the finals, taking his first offroad state title in the process. Matt Kellet rounded out the podium, giving Team Associated another clean sweep with all three drivers using the Factory Team SC10.2.

In 4WD Mod, Ray narrowly missed TQ with his B44.3 while Andrew Selvaggi took 2nd in Modified Truck with his RC10T5M Team Kit.

In the competitive 21.5T 2WD class, it was Steve 'Beshy' Beshman who took the win with his B5M, Paul Slifka 2nd (B5M) and Jae Shields (RC10B5) 3rd -- another Team Associated podium sweep.

Thanks to Team Associated for their support and to the club for putting on a great event!

A few laps of Lachie (9yo) having a fang of my modified class #B5M 2wd buggy at Mildura this morning. He likes the power of modified!
