Schreffler and Mackanick Win The East Coast Race Against Cancer

This past weekend was the 18th Annual Race against Cancer at LCRC raceway in Oakland Mills, PA. This event has raised over $172,000 total and $21,000 just in one weekend!

The XRAY team arrived at the track Thursday get everything setup as practice started early Friday morning. Mainly we just needed to get the right shock oil, diff oil and tires for the cars and we were all set! The whole team worked really well together and talked a lot throughout the day Friday about what everyone found and what they liked. Friday night we did a little car prep and got our tires mounted up ready to go!

Qualifying day Saturday was a great day for the whole team! In Pro ebuggy Ethan Mackanick would take the TQ and XRAY would take the top 3 qualifying spots with 6 cars in the 13 car A main. In Pro Nitro buggy Ethan would again take the TQ with 5 cars in the A main. Intermediate Ebuggy would see 4 cars in the Amain and Tyler Beiter would take the TQ in novice Ebuggy. Ethan would take the 3 class sweep by claiming the TQ in nitro truggy as well. I would qualify second in Plus 40 Nitro buggy.

Main day was much of the same but it only got better!! In the Pro Ebuggy class XRAY would take the top 5 spots in dominating fashion with Ethan as the winner. In Pro Nitro buggy Adam Johnson took 3rd and Tristan Beiter 4th. In the main that no one seemed to want to win Shawn Duffy would take the Intermediate buggy win with Van Slutz 2nd, Bill Davis 6th and Adam Curry 12th. Ethan would take the win in Nitro truggy. I finished 2nd in Plus 40 Nitro buggy.
