Ryan Lutz had the best year of his career in 2015 after joining Tekno RC, with perhaps his most notable achievement being a runner-up finish at the ROAR Nationals in Chico, CA. Armed with the third generation of Tekno's truggy platform, and accompanied by talented teammates Joe Bornhorst and Billy Fischer along with designers Danny Lewis and Matt Wolter, Lutz and his NT48.3 are set to take another shot at Ryan's - and Tekno RC's - biggest win yet.
Tekno RC began by making conversion kits for popular nitro vehicles, and then its own electric off-road race cars, but the NB and NT nitro vehicle lines have made a serious splash in international racing circles. Lutz's full-punch driving style is wonderfully suited to the poised and sure-footed NT48.3, and with the body decorated in his signature bright pink and blue it's easy to pick out on the track.
