Everybody knows that Friday is meant for reminiscing old times. Each week we take you back in time as we flashback to some of R/C racing's greatest moments, products, drivers, and more!

The 2018 ROAR 1/8-scale Electric Off-Road Nationals are only a few weeks away, and for this week's Flashback Friday we travel back in time to the first ever ROAR 1/8-scale Electric Off-Road National Championship. The year was 2010, and the event was hosted by Norcal Hobbies in Union City, California.

Ryan Maifield and Mike Truhe would go down in the history books, winning the first ever ROAR 1/8-scale Electric Off-Road National Championship titles, but not without a fight from the hard charging competition of Austin Blair and Jesse Robbers.
