Everybody knows that Friday is meant for reminiscing old times. Each week we take you back in time as we flashback to some of R/C racing's greatest moments, products, drivers, and more!

Flashback: 2004
Jared Tebo wins his first ever National Championship

Today, Jared Tebo is known around the world as one of the fastest drivers on the planet. Years of hard work and dedication have paid off as he is now a multi-time national and world championship winning driver. So where did it all begin? Nearly ten years ago his professional career in R/C kicked off with an impressive win at the 2004 ROAR Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he would pilot his Team Associated RC10GT to an overall victory in the highly competitive gas truck class.

This would be Tebo's first National Championship win, and among his first major event wins and championships in what was once one of the most popular racing classes in R/C. Today, many new racers have never seen or heard of a 1:10 scale nitro powered stadium truck, let alone fathom the competition and popularity that it once held.
