This week is one of my all-time favorite events that I have had the opportunity to attend, the one and only Cactus Classic. This year's event is rumored to be the final Cactus Classic at the current outdoor SRS facility in Scottsdale, as the track is said to be moving indoors in the coming year.

While the 2014 racing season is still young, we have seen a lot of great performances already by multiple drivers around the nation. The season kicked off with the CRCRC Midwest Electric Championships where Ryan Maifield would dominate the field in both 2wd and 4wd buggy classes. Only weeks later, the heavy hitters headed to the west coast for the annual Reedy Race of Champions where Ryan Cavalieri would be crowned the champ, yet again. Moving on to 1:8 scale racing at the recent Dirt Nitro Challenge, "The Ryan's" would struggle while the Canadian Ty Tessmann would strut his stuff to victory in both Pro Buggy and Pro Truggy.

These drivers and HUNDREDS of others will be gathering this week in sunny Arizona to do battle at the 2014 Pro-Line Cactus Classic. Will Maifield bring back his CRCRC winning ways? Will Cavalieri carry on from the Reedy Race? Will Ty Tessmann continue his dominance after the DNC? Will we see the faces of previous winners such as Jared Tebo, Dakotah Phend, Dustin Evans, Steven Hartson, and others back on the top step of the podium?

Who do YOU think will be the big winners for this year's Pro-Line Cactus Classic?
