Though a large chunk of the entries at any major event come from local drivers and those who chose to travel, there's a large traveling circus of team drivers that attend most of the races together. When you're stuck at the track for five long days, weird things can happen. This was one of those things.

I'm not sure how this started, but I was alerted (by some of their teammates who also found it hilarious) that Dan Hartson was giving shoe-tying instructions to his IFMAR World Champion son Steven as well as Reedy Race Open 4WD champion Spencer Rivkin. They were all so engrossed in the lesson that no one noticed me recording it with my phone.
