"How did you get introduced to RC racing?"

Look no further than the results of this poll for proof that RC racing is a social activity - nearly 60% of the people who answered said that they got into RC because either a friend showed off his own hobby grade RC car (the majority result in Canada and the U.K.), or that person stumbled upon an RC track and felt compelled to get involved (most common answer in Denmark and the U.S.).

Of course, the most popular answer, with its 30.7% of the votes only narrowly beating those other two answers, was that one's parents were the source of that racer's first RC car (count me included, though I didn't vote). Though it was the most popular answer, it garnered the majority of votes from Australia, the UK, Germany, and Ukraine.

The other two results only received a handful of votes each, as 3.9% say they were hooked after watching an RC video (most popular answer from voters saying they live in Madagascar), and 7.1% were turned onto the hobby from RC magazines (including the majority of voters from Venezuela).
