Start your week by taking our poll! Every Monday morning a new question is posted, and the results of the previous week's poll are dissected for insight on trends and regional patterns. Questions may discuss the direction of the industry, current events, and predictions for upcoming races. Polls close Friday evening, so make sure to get your vote in on time - this is your chance to be heard!

A LiPo battery that burst into flames at last weekend's Snowbird Nationals - which was held at the Park Inn in Kissimmee, FL, - was quickly extinguished with sand. Snowbirds promoters had stationed 11 sand buckets throughout the pit area, including two placed trackside, along with these maps calling the attention of racers to such an important issue. Their foresight paid off.

Kudos to the Snowbird Nationals crew for being prepared. Does your local track have the equipment ready and procedure in place to extinguish a LiPo fire?

LAST WEEK'S RESULTS

"Which former Invitational Champ will win the Reedy Race?"

Over 55% of LiveRC's audience correctly guessed that a first-time champion would win the Reedy Race Invitational, and another 26.5% thought that Ryan Cavalieri would take another title - he was close! 6.5% of voters - including probably everyone from the green countries above - thought Jörn Neumann would win. Dustin Evans (6.5%) received the same number of votes as Neumann, while Billy Easton (2.8%) and Brian Kinwald (1.9%) also received votes.
