Yesterday, the online retail giant posted the photo above to their Facebook page along with a teaser caption:

Considering the other drivers who make up the AMain.com racing team - big name stars like Jared Tebo, Mark Pavidis, and Atsushi Hara - one can only guess that the next addition would be of a similar caliber.
During the Nuremburg Toy Fair, the French news site RCNews.fr posted this photo of three-time ROAR 1:8 Fuel Buggy National Champion Adam Drake, who attended the show during his search for new employment after the termination of his relationship with Horizon Hobby, involved in a "selfie" with a representative from SWorkz - and a caption suggesting that a deal was imminent.
SWorkz is, of course, distributed exclusively in the U.S. by AMain.com - but the roots of this deal could go further than that. Not only does Adam have a long-standing friendship with AMain.com team manager Marty Korn, and fellow national champion Chad Bradley who works in product development for the store's in-house brands, but CEO Kendall Bennett has always been a fan of Drake's. A deal with SWorkz would almost certainly include, and perhaps be facilitated by, AMain and likely involve AMain's ProTek RC brand as well.
Of course, the character in the photo is wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and Drake - a Michigan native - rarely gets cold. So this speculation could all turn out to be bogus...but it's rather exciting to think about, isn't it?
