Shown here on Ty Tessmann’s signature edition HB D8T, Pro-Line Racing is set to release a new body for various 1/8-scale truck platforms called the Enforcer. Tessmann himself provided Pro-Line with a hand-drawn sketch of what he wanted the shell to look like, and the engineers look it from there.

“They wanted to make a new-style body, so I gave them a drawing,” said the defending Dirt Nitro Challenge champion, who added, “and I wanted to make it less cab forward, and actually look like a truck.” Ty explained that today’s trucks have much more steering that previous generation vehicles, so the extreme cab-forward concept isn’t as necessary anymore. Along with the original concept, Ty also came up with the product’s name. He said, “I wanted it to sound cool and mean, but something that wasn’t dog-related.”

According to Pro-Line's Daniel Adams, the Enforcer will be offered for the HB D8T, TLR 8IGHT-T 3.0, Mugen Seiki MBX7T, and Tekno RC NT48 and should start hitting hobby shop shelves on March 15.
