Jérôme Treignier and Matthieu Chaffardon, son of RC Concept founder Sebastien, are among about a half-dozen drivers campaigning the MC5 engine at the Fear Farm for the French brand’s first Dirt Nitro Challenge. The race just weeks after Treignier and the elder Chaffardon visited the DNC Warm-Up race and toured several tracks in Southern California.

Available with or without ceramic bearings, the MC5 stands out from the ground thanks to a unique head design including vertical heat sink fins atop the head. RC Concept also offers a 3-port MC3.
 
 
RC Concept also recently announced this motor and speed control duo built specifically for 1/10-scale racing. The SC120 speed control is housed entirely in aluminum, while the motors are available in 5.5- through 10.5-turns as well as a 13.5 motor that means “stock” class specs in Europe.
