Yesterday, we caught Pro-Line driver Ty Tessmann with a set of the new Suppressor tires mounted up for practice on his HB D815, designed to serve as an additional step between the Holeshot and the Blockade patterns typically used on surfaces such as the loamy dirt here at RC Tracks Las Vegas. According to Pro-Line's Daniel Adams, the molds for the 1/8-scale truck version were finished and the first run of tires were shot yesterday, so designer Matt Wallace drove a box of them to Vegas for their team drivers to test for the first time.

Molded on Pro-Line's VTR carcass, the tires feature the same square lugs and shortened rows along the edges as the buggy tires. "I ran the buggy tires for the first time last week, along with Barry Pettit, and Dylan Rodriguez tested a couple of sets out here as well" said Adam Drake, "but we've never had a chance to try these yet."
