Main Photo: Trinity's return to motor dominance? The name 'Trinity' may not mean much to somebody just getting started in R/C, but to anyone who's been around a while, the name evokes memories of an R/C dynasty that was similar to the New York Yankees.

It seemed like almost every race was won by Trinity motors and batteries. it seemed like pro drivers all over the world had flirted with running for the manufacturer, and when they finally would sign, it felt like there would be no way anyone could compete with their team. It truly was a Yankees-style operation, that produced Yankees-style results.

That was then.

Now, the name 'Trinity' has fallen off the radar in recent years. Nitro racing exploded in popularity all around the world, and brushed motors became officially extinct within the matter of a couple years.

Well, Trinity seems to be placing themselves in position to possibly make a '78 Yankees-style comeback. They've recently announced a return to what made them a world-wide entity: a stock motor.

Obviously this isn't a brushed motor. The new 'Monster Locked' cost-controlled, fixed-timing motor is meant to be used in a 'spec' style class. The motor offers numerous other features that help with tech inspection to ensure the fairest racing possible.
