Hot and sunny Wombwell circuit saw Round 2 of the UK Nationals this past weekend find the results here. With the highest entry of drivers for a long time, it was fast and furious on track.
In qualifying, Tim Wood took a strong TQ with John Carr close behind in 2nd. Karl Dransfield put his Velox into 4th position to make 3 Shepherd cars in the A main.
In the 25 minute B Final, Craig Hook and Ralph Crampton both achieved podium positions. Their first visit to the super-fast and technical Wombwell track, Craig took a sweet victory with Ralph nailing 3rd position. Super work Guys.
In the 30 minute A Final, Tim led from the start and sealed another nice win. Karl Dransfield had a great drive to finish 2nd with John Carr rounding out 4th after a few minor issues.
What another great weekend for the Zen-Shepherd Race team.
Next Race is Halifax in June.
