XFactoryUK Press Release
www.xfactoryrc.co.uk

Last weekend saw the BRCA 1/10th Off Road Nationals kick start the season
with round one at the ever popular track in Kidderminster. X-Factory UK had
various team drivers in attendance and produced some great results in both
classes over the weekend.

In 2wd, Darren Bloomfield set the overall TQ and took the first the A final
win with his Vampire Racing powered TLR22. Coming home second overall in
round one, then setting TQ overall in round 2 secured Darren's position at
the front of the grid for the finals, then with flag to flag wins in legs
one and two, he wrapped up the overall victory with one leg still to spare.
Darren uses the popular SR1+ ESC in his cars, powered by Vampire 2013 spec
LIPO batteries and the new Type AB+ range of brushless motors. A superb
start to the season indeed....

Darren was also joined in the 2wd A final by X-Factory UK team driver Chris
Rowcliffe, his C4.1, with JConcepts accessories such as the Finnisher
bodyshell, Hi Clearance wing and other accessories were used, once more
powered by Vampire motors, ESC's and LIPO's and as with Darren both drivers
using Ballistic Buggy foam inserts in all of their tyres...

The all new X-Factory X6 Cubed also made it's first full competitive outdoor
debut in the hands of (from left to right) Dan Greenwood, Rich Lowe and Dave
Orbell as well as our own Darren Boyle. All cars again powered by Vampire
electronics along with accessories by JConcepts, Lunsford, MIP, Team SR,
Hiro Seiko and Exotek performed well throughout the 2wd competition with the
team very happy with the cars performance. Rich Lowe managed to get his car
5th into the B final, a great result considering the other big names in the
final and the very challenging weather conditions. More news on the release
of this exciting new 2wd buggy as soon as we get it.....

4wd - Sunday

In the 4wd competition, no less than 3 X-Factory UK drivers made the A
final. In 8th was Rich Lowe, running his JConcepts kitted out B44.2, powered
by Vampire electronics, including the SR1+ ESC, 5400 70C saddle pack LIPO's
and the new Type AB+ V2 6.5 motor, 9th on the grid was the vampire powered
Durango DEX410 of Paul Robinson and last but by no means least was Ellis
Stafford also with his Vampire powered Durango DEX410, Ellis also was using
the new V2 Type AB+ in the 6.5 wind.

Vampire powered cars took up 5 of the 20 A finals places over the weekend -
25% and with 5 different drivers too, which from the 15 different names who
made the A finals at this first round is an astonishing third of all drivers
running Vampire motors, LIPOs and ESC's.....
