Max Mächler of Awesomatix posted a handful of pictures of a prototype front-wheel-drive touring car called the A800FX to his personal Facebook page yesterday. The car features a front-mounted motor with belt-driven gearbox along with the Russian brand’s rotation-style dampers, equalling a low center of gravity and weight balance more typical of FWD vehicles.
Mächler’s caption said, “FWD testing continues. The Team is working on some more ideas for future tests! A800FX is now ready to collect some more data for Awesomatix. The car is still in ‘Prototype stage’!”
