Hooks took two wins, Dellinger topped Pro Buggy at inaugural Thornhill Team Cup

Last weekend, the Thornhill Racing Circuit in Hutto, TX hosted its first-ever Team Cup - which combined the results of multiple team members across different classes to determine the overall finishing order. Here are race reports from Thornhill Racing Circuit, Expert Buggy winner Jake Dellinger, and Expert Truck and E-Buggy winner Tyler Hooks.

Congratulation to Team Hooligan for winning the Inaugural Thornhill Team Cup and to all the other winners this weekend. This race was a challenge for me to get people into thinking and working more as a team. A challenge to unite people for a cause and to create comradery through the challenges of trying to win as a group. At first most were slow to adapt to the idea of it, but now I think that I have won you over to the idea. Next year should be bigger than ever with even more teams.

Fun weekend with everyone at the first annual Thornhill Team Cup race!

My Reedy powered Team Associated RC8B3 on Proline racing tires was on point right from the start of practice and was great all weekend! Car was good enough to get me the TQ in nitro buggy, and my main went flawlessly as well and I was able to get the win!

Huge thanks to Robbie, Jamie N Mike Garrett for the super fast pits, Mark Morrow for the ride and laughs, Chris Allison and the Thornhill crew for giving everyone an amazing place to race and to everyone else who supports me!

Thornhill Cup was a good time! Tq'ed and won Truggy after and epic battle with Noah Dickerson, qualified 2nd and finished 3rd in pro Buggy, and qualified 12th in pro ebuggy after a brand new Hobbywing XR8 Pro gave out on the second day of running with it... After throwing another esc in I was able to win the B main and then starting 11th in the amain, take the win in A1 and A2 to take the overall!
