Privateer Rakus takes 3 at AMS 9.0

Race Report from Edward Rakus:

Chris Rakus sweeps the Open Class Nitro Buggy, Nitro truggy, and E-Buggy classes at AMS 9.0 this past weekend.  Driving the HB D817 and D817T as a privateer, Chris went out in Q1 on clay dirt webs in both buggy classes and green reflexes in truck earning a top 4 finish in all classes.  Round 2 and 3 saw Chris using blue reflexes on all vehicles and narrowly missing TQ.  For the mains, Chris ran R2 reflexes in both buggy classes and blue reflexes in truck.  The nitro mains began with close battles and traffic, but after the first round of pit stops, patience, and smooth driving, Chris ran flawlessly for both 30 minute mains to secure the wins.  In E-Buggy A1, traffic was a factor and Chris finished 3rd.  In A2, Chris jumped out early and secured the overall win.  Chris would like to thank his sponsors JConcepts for the awesome tires, RC Addiction products and Nitro Pro fuel for smooth, reliable power, Blake Boggs and Hunter Cupp for the pit help.
