The 2018 Mugen Challenge at LCRC Raceway was a blast with 350 entries. We did a clinic on Thursday, dirt oval racing on Thursday night, off-road practice on Friday, qualifying Saturday, main events and a long jump on Sunday. On Monday we visited The Track in Gaithersburg, Maryland on our way to the airport.

I was the top qualifier in nitro buggy, nitro truck and dirt oval. I took the win in nitro truck and dirt oval. I finished second in nitro buggy after running out of fuel and also finished second in electric buggy. Next week I’m off to Brazil for the Brazilian Nationals.

Mugen Seiki MBX8T truck.
O.S. Speed B21 Adam Drake engine, O.S. 2090 pipe.
Pro-Line VTR Holeshot (M3), Enforcer body. velocity wheels, and Trifecta lexan wing.
