Press Release From Carson and Jonathan Yeung

This is the 1st  round of 2019 M.K.Power off-road championship series at XMG. XMG track is located in Dongguan, Southern part of China, about 90km away from Hong Kong border.  Racers from Japan, mainland China, Taiwan, Macau as well as Hong Kong racers participate in this race for about 80 entries. The race consist 2 classes, nitro Buggy and nitro Truggy.

Tekno driver Jonathan Yeung and his dad Carson from Hong Kong driving TEKNO NB48.4 (Jonathan) and TEKNO NT48.3 (Carson) to compete in Nitro Buggy class and Nitro Truggy class respectively.

In qualify rounds, due to high number of entries, qualify round was set at 5min. In short quality race, a single mistake will make huge different in result. Jonathan made a mistake in qualify round and enter A-Main final in #4 position. Carson made good pace in qualify round and TQ in nitro Truggy class.

In nitro Buggy class 45 min A-Main final, Jonathan started at 4th place and a mistake in a jump of 2nd lap, dropped him to last place. Then he keep pushing his car to limit and took the lead after 7 min race and never look back. After about 15 min race, Jonathan already lapped 2nd car (Hu) by one lap and he keep pushing the speed to gain more margin. The competition between 2nd and 3rd place is tight, position exchanged for several time. The race continue and Jonathan finished in 1st place with 90 laps, Hu Wei Ping at 2nd place with 87 laps, Zhan Wei at 3rd place with 86 laps.

In nitro Truggy class A-Main final, Carson started at 1st place but flame-out 2 time (Fuel tank fuel line crack issue) after car flipped lost the chance to win. After 30min race, Hu finished in 1st place, Carson finished at 2nd place, Bobo finished in 3rd place.
