Japanese online retailer Rakusei Model posted the first public photo and details of the new MP9-based on-road race car ahead of its official announcement. The leak comes just six days after Kyosho posted a teaser clip of the car - which you can see here:

While referred to as the "9BGT" in the title of the YouTube video, Rakusei Model's item page for the vehicle lists the name as the Inferno GT3 - which logically follows the previous platforms' naming structure - and confirms it's based on the MP9 TKI4. The part number for the new kit is #33010 with a list price of 88,000 yen - or about $787 USD.

The Google-translated description for the Inferno GT3 explains that the car will come with shorter versions of the TKI4’s big-bore dampers, as well as benefit from the smaller lighter MP9 differentials versus those of MP7.5 buggy on which the Inferno GT2 was based. The shocks, shock towers, chassis and other aluminum components have been treated with the “duralumin” anodizing process for greater wear characteristics.

The Inferno GT3 will come in kit form, requiring complete running gear.
