Everybody knows that Friday is meant for reminiscing old times. Each week we take you back in time as we flashback to some of R/C racing's greatest moments, products, drivers, and more!

Next week kicks off the 2018 ROAR 1/10 Electric Off-Road Nationals at Hobby Action Raceway in Chandler, Arizona. As racers prepare for this year's event, we flashback 21 years to the 1997 ROAR Modified Electric Nationals held at K&N Raceway in Houston, Texas.

The late Team Associated founding partner, Gene Husting, produced numerous R/C VHS tapes and videos during this era. His R/C videos ranged from the Florida Winter Nats to the IFMAR Worlds, and little of everything in between. Join the industry icon as he takes us on a journey back in time to the 1997 ROAR Modified Electric Nationals featuring drivers such as Brian Kinwald, Greg Hodapp, Barry Baker, Mark Pavidis, Cliff Lett, and more.
