REDS Racing releases the new R5T Team Edition 2 with boosters

 

REDS Racing is always developing high performance and low fuel consumption products. The latest engine developed is theTeam Edition 2. It is derived from the well-known R5T and used by most of REDS Team drivers such as Cody King, Daniel Vega, Alessandro Magi, Ignacio Candel, KazuyaTanaka and others.
 
The new Team Edition 2 is the most advanced of REDS off road engines line. The new engine is the 3rd step of development of R5T booster version.

The new engine has been designed for reducing fuel consumption and increasing performance. The TE2 development has characterized, in particular, the high efficiency cooling system , the improvement of the sleeve and crankshaft timing and some adjustments to tuning. The new cooling system guarantees a higher efficiency in extreme working conditions (at high temperatures) thanks to wider cooling head and combustion chamber. Furthermore the cooling system has a lower gravity center in order to improve vehicle dynamics.
 
The main features of Team Edition are: back-plate with low fiction hard coating RDC, rear ceramic ball bearing, special Team Tuning, sleeve with 5 inlet ports and exhaust with boosters, extremely lightweight only 348 g and balanced cranckshaft.
 
The engine is equipped with T5C plug, pre adjusted carburetor, 6 and 7 mm venturi and quality contoll certificate “one by one” by M. Rossi. The engine is matched with REDS 2099 or 2104, manifolds S, XS or DB and REDS “one touch” effortless clutch.
