ROAR NATS: Tessmann took third round of Buggy and overall points lead [VIDEO]

Ty Tessmann drove his O.S. Speed-powered, Pro-Line Racing-equipped XRAY buggy to the fastest time in the third round of Buggy qualifying and moved to the top of the provisional points standings. Here are the results of the round, the replay of Ty's TQ run and the latest point standings.

Tessmann has kept getting stronger as the weekend goes on, and pointed out that the track conditions - in the heat of the day, with a bit of wind, as the surface continues to break down - were perhaps their toughest yet. Spencer RIvkin said the same, but was also pleased with the progression of his JConcepts-equipped, Mx-powered Team Associated RC8B3.1 as the national champion recovered from a rough go in the first round that left him eighth. And Ryan Maifield, who finished third despite being less than two seconds back, was the most candid about how gnarly the track has become - as well as how difficult it will be to bump out of the semifinals. Dakotah Phend, who was fifth, had to wait for several heats to see where his qualifying run from an earlier heat would fall in the overall finishing order.
