2026 INS Spring Indoor Nationals JConcepts Report

The second round of the JConcepts INS series took place this past weekend in Macomb, Michigan at RC One Raceway. The Spring Indoor Nationals boasted 336 entries ready to battle it out on the first carpet event of the series for the year.

Racers were welcomed to a fantastic layout as per usual at RC One as well as the awesome pit area, professional hobby shop, and epic vibes one expects from the facility.

As per usual all practice is controlled in the INS series, followed by seeding, 3 rounds of qualifying, and double or triple main events come Sunday for the racers. The team started strong in seeding with the following results.

2wd Modified: 1st Broc Champlin, 3rd Davey Batta
4wd Modified: 1st Brennan Schimmel
17.5 Expert 2wd: 1st Dustin Fox, 3rd Daniel Chavez (JC Privateer)

Moving into qualifying it was the standard 2/3 qual-points format racers would come to expect from INS with a surprising amount of classes going all the way to Q3 to choose an overall TQ.
