8.9 Earthquake and Tsunami strike Japan

A massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake occurred this morning off the coast of Japan (believed to be the area's strongest in 1200 years).

The quake triggered a tsunami which has killed hundreds and has caused an early estimate of 'tens of billions' of dollars in structural damage.

Japan is a major hub of activity in our industry. Countless companies and tracks call the country home, and we wish the best to all of them during this time of tragedy. Our thoughts are with all of you.
