Located in southern Indiana, P&T Hobbies and Raceway hosted the “Early Spring Offroad Champs” over the weekend of February 23rd. Being in business for well over 25 years, P&T Hobbies and Raceway is one of the longest running tracks in the state and in the region. P&T being where JConcepts driver, Ben Ellis, got his start in R/C as a young kid.
The one day trophy race brought in over 90 entries from across the tri-state area. Ellis would equip his Team Associated B4.2 and T4.2 machines with JConcepts rubber to take TQ in Mod 2wd buggy and 2nd for qualifying in Mod Truck.
When it came time for the mains, it was the "Ellis Show" as he took the lead in both classes, lapped the field, and drove away to a double victory!
