1. Could you introduce yourself to the readers?
I am Mikey Bustamante, I am 18 years old and live the in Las Vegas Nevada.

2. How long have you been involved in your sport?
I have been Racing RC cars for about 6 years now. My dad first got me into the hobby when I was about seven years old and he bought me my first RC car. Between the time I started racing to this very moment, this sport has grown tremendously. I haven't seen the industry this big before.

3. Are there people who inspired you to get started?
The number one person I work with and would like to continue working with is my dad, my pitman. Whether it's rebuilding my shocks to lubing my bearings, he has taught me everything I know. This season has already kicked off and is going pretty well. My goal this year is to make an A-main event at a Major race. In a few weeks I will try my luck at The Silver State Nitro Challenge.

4. What motivated you to continue competing?
The biggest thing about this sport is simple, and that's to make sure you have fun doing it. I use to push racing so hard and take it so serious but it only troubled me. Now I just go out there with a good mind set and try to lay it down! The next biggest thing is practice, just like anything else you want to do good at you've got to put in the time. The more wheel time you have the more you will understand how everything in this hobby works. I have learned so much from so many people in this hobby, and that's the best thing about it, everyone is willing to lend a hand.

5. What is the best advice you have ever received?
The biggest advice I have received would be to use your head. Focus on your car, find your rhythm and don't worry about anything else, it is your race to win.

6. What equipment are you currently using?
Most recently I have been running quite a bit of electric off-road, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Team Losi Racing 22 before they are available. I also race the 8ight 2.0, 8ight-t 2.0, Xxx-sct, Xxx-t cr.

I have been using the Boca Green Seal Bearings in all of my cars aswell. My current sponsors for the 2011 season are Team Losi Racing, Nitrotane, Boca Bearing, Xcelorin, Spektrum, Orion, Dialed Inc., Upgrade-rc, HobbyTown USA and The Vegas R/C Raceway.
