Neil Cragg and multiple Team Associated drivers from across the pond have been running a mid-motor B4.1 buggy known as the Centro C4.1. The mid-motor conversion is designed and put together by CML Distribution in the UK. They have announced that the new conversions are nearing completion and are getting set to hit the market!

CML DISTRIBUTION SAYS
:
"We know many of you have been eagerly waiting for the release of the C4.1 Centro conversion, and we really appreciate your patience over the last few months...

This project has been a steep learning curve for CML in terms of dipping our toe into design, testing and manufacturing in addition to the day to day distribution of products. We certainly appreciate the work Team Associated put into producing a car like the B4.1!

Nevertheless we are close, very close to being able to begin shipping out conversions with parts now arriving weekly. Some parts are already in stock, and we are just awaiting final production samples of machined alloy parts before signing them off for mass production.

Our anticipated release is mid-October or earlier if we can achieve it. We are desperate to get them into your hands as much as you are to race it and enjoy the speed and handling that has made it unbeatable over this summers BRCA 2wd Championships. It will be worth the wait."

"The final parts list (above) with some option parts is now available, as is a C4.1 set-up sheet and the logo decal sheet design. Set-up's from this season's major races will be available online shortly to help you hit the astro running."

Will we see the Centro C4.1 cross the waters and make it to the United States? With more and more of the mainstream buggies including the TLR 22, Durango DEX210, XFactory X6, and even the Venom VMR2 offering mid and rear motor options, will the C4.1 be the answer to Associated owners looking for a mid-motor worldwide?
