The Dirt Racing Lone Star Nitro Challenge/Worlds Warm-Up Announcement

Thornhill Racing Circuit is excited to have the 13th annual Lonestar/Worlds Warm up race coming next month. We have extended the race on day to accommodate the extra entries as we are expecting more international drivers this year. With the IFMAR World Championships coming to Thornhill this year, we decided to use the LoneStar event to help get some practice for the Worlds style format. We are offering the "Worlds Pro Nitro Buggy" class. This class will have a similar qualifuing and main event format as th IFMAR Worlds do. Only this class will have this format. All other classes will have the regular Lonestar format. We are looking forward to a great event and are excited to see some AMAZING racing coming next month. Thursday May 7

Controlled practice 9am start

Friday May 8

Seeding practice and 1 qualifier 9am start

Saturday May 9

2 qualifiers and lower mains 9am start

Sunday May 10

Mains and awards 9am start

This is also the worlds warmup race and there is a worlds pro nitro buggy class that will be run in the worlds qualifying and main format.
