The 2012 Reedy Truck Race of Champions was held at Hot Rod Hobbies, October 5th-7th in sunny Saugus, California. The temperatures all weekend long were in the upper 80's making it a perfect weekend for racing. This years event brought in over 140 entries from SoCal's best truck drivers.

In the Modified Truck Class, it was Team Orion/Kyosho's Drew Moller that would TQ Rounds #1 & #3 to take the overall TQ for the class!

A-Main #1: A good battle between Team Orion Teammates Drew Moller and Mike Truhe would lead to Truhe just edging out Moller by 1 second. Kody Numedahl would finish 3rd.

A-Main #2: Moller would lead every lap of this main event and hang on for the Win. A hard charging Truhe would come all the way back after a rough start to finish only 1/2 second behind Moller. Joel Eaton finished in 3rd. Team Orion drivers would finish 1-3!

A-Main #3: The championship would come down the the third and final A-Main. With both Moller and Truhe each having a 1st and a 2nd place finish, the battle would be between them for the overall. Moller would put in a very impressive race once again leading every lap to take the Win and the 2012 Reedy Truck Race of Champions Championship! Mike Truhe would finish 2nd overall and Kody Numedahl 3rd overall.
