After days of intense heat and intense racing, Sunday's mains proved to be some of the greatest racing in Hot Rod Shootout history. All eyes were on the triple a-mains of the four mod classes. When it was all said and done Jared Tebo, Dustin Evans, Ryan Cavalieri, and Billy Fischer would come out on top.

With a suprise finish in 3rd, Tyler Vik, would work his way up from his 6th place starting position to finish only .3 seconds ahead of Jared Tebo. A2 was dominated by the B44.1 of Ryan Cavalieri with a 6 second win over TLR's Dustin Evans and Kyosho's Jared Tebo. Evans and Tebo crossing the line only .3 seconds apart for another epic finish. It was still anybody's overall race to win at the start of A3. While A1 winner Ryan Lutz suffered problems at the 3 minute mark, TD's Billy Fischer would step up for a 4th place finish followed by AE's Josh Numan. In the end, it was Team Associated's Ryan Cavalieri with a 4 second win securing the overall for the Mod 4wd Buggy Hot Rod Shootout win.
Modified 2wd Buggy

A1 saw Tebo and Truhe drop back to 3rd and 4th as Dustin Evans and AE's Ryan Cavalieri charged to the front. Evans and Cav seperating themselves from the rest by 3 seconds would race across the line finishing 1-2 only .3 seconds apart. A similar battle to finish would unfold for 3rd as Tebo just narrowly edges out Truhe by .2 seconds. With excitement from A1's finishes, A2 had everyone watching. The tone sounded, and once again it wasn't long as Truhe and Evans moved out front. Top 3 drivers, Truhe-Evans-Tebo, would battle all the way to finish. As the tone sounded Tebo would get caught at the line for 3rd. Truhe and Evans with the free lap, the crowd went crazy. With an absolute amazing finish, by only .1 seconds, Dustin Evans would edge out Mike Truhe for the Hot Rod Shootout overall win!
