Our good friends at OCR Raceway have sent us some news from "down-under"!

Aussiemove Championship Round 3 Report:

Blake Ingleton running an RB powered Mugen MBX6 takes a 2 point win over Paul Mansell's RB powered Durango, in the competitive Sport Buggy class, RB and Mugen dominant in both classes with Knauth taking 3 Series round wins in a row! In the B - Truck class the Davies brothers Adam and Rhian on the podium again, in only their second event!!!

Round 1 - Pro Buggy - Knauth taking the first win of the night ahead of Manalvo and Christianson, both running MBX6, Tampe - Hyper Star and Dylan Thomas - RC8 fourth and fifth. Rory O'Connor taking the Sport Buggy heat ahead of Nathan Weiss - Hyper 9 and Gary Clark - Hyper 9. Short Course Truck - Knauth taking the A Truck win over Ussher and Mansell, Michael Evans taking the B Truck heat, with Steven Panjer close behind in second ahead of his father David Panjer in third.

Round 2 - Pro Buggy - Christianson getting up to take the win over Knauth and Manalvo, Tampe and Thomas battling it out for fourth and fifth again, Christianson resetting the FTD record by 0.4 secs to 13 laps 497.024 secs, Ingleton taking the Sport Buggy heat over Raafs and Mansell. Short Course Truck - Knauth, Ussher and Mansell again going at it for the A Truck heat win, Knauth getting the better of them to finish a lap ahead, Rhian Davies making good to take the B Truck win over Evans and Steven Jackson.

Round 3 - Pro Buggy - Christianson getting away at the end to put a lap on Knauth, Manalvo 3.70 secs back in third, Thomas getting the better of Tampe in this one to finish fourth, Ingleton, putting a lap on Mansell to take the Sport Buggy heat, Andrew Barton getting up for a third place in the heat. Short Course Truck - Knauth getting away with the Holeshot setting a new record taking 0.45 secs off, Ussher holding off a hard charging Beau Harris in third, Mansell and Raafs battling for fourth and fifth, Young Steven Panjer getting up to take the B - Truck heat win over another young driver Rhys Thomas, another of the father / son combos, and David Panjer third.

Round 4 - Pro Buggy - Manalvo taking the Pro Buggy heat win ahead of Knauth and Christianson after an awesome race between the trio, O,Connor, Weiss and Barton the Top 3 in the Sport Buggy heat. Short Course Truck - The brothers Davies battling it out for the B Truck win, with Adam getting the better of Rhian on the line, with Steven the "Stig' Jackson close behind in third, Knauth taking a clean sweep with four in a row in A - Truck ahead of Ussher and Harris again the pair putting on a good show.

Round 5 - Pro Buggy - The Final round of the night, sees a close battle set up with Christianson and Knauth on equal points for first under 3 seconds seperating them, and Manalvo 1 point behind on the leader board, Christianson coming to grief with mechanical issues on the first lap, Knauth, Tampe and Manalvo all running Mugen putting on an awesome display, Thomas getting into the mix in the closing stages, in the end though Knauth taking the win by a lap, Tampe up for a hard earned second ahead of Manalvo and Thomas. Short Course Truck - Knauth cleaning up taking all 5 wins for the night setting up nicely for the 2011 Mack Truck Short Course Titles on the 19th / 20th August, Mansell getting the better of Ussher to finish second. Karlo Dayap taking the B Truck heat win ahead of visiting Tasmanian driver Peter Hutton, with Rhys Thomas home in third Steven Panjer and Steven Jackson fourth and fifth.

Another great night of racing, again welcoming some new and visiting drivers to OCR, a couple of new records set, and with the 2011 Mack Trucks Short Course Titles as the next event, we will be seeing some awesome RC Motorsport action coming up.
