Now we have technically categorized this as a "New Product", however it has been available for a little while now. After purchasing one of our own, we thought we should share our experience!

The Robinson Racing GEN3 Slipper Units are designed for multiple vehicles, but we chose it for our Traxxas Slash. In order to get the power we needed to race our mod Slash, we had the slipper SO tight that it began breaking internal pins. Any looser, and the stock slipper would severely slip after just a few runs. We decided to turn to Robinson Racing, and try out the new GEN3 Slipper Unit for the 2wd Slash.

The GEN3 Slipper Unit is designed out of aircraft grade billet aluminum, and was instantly recognized as a durability plus! We took off the stock slipper unit, and bolted on the new GEN3. Easy installation had us back on the track in no time!

The GEN3 is a captured design that also offers more surface area to keep the power to the ground. Instantly we noticed the difference, as we set out our slipper to a reasonable tension, had plenty of power, and no annoying slip or broken internal pins.

After several hours of running, the Robinson Racing GEN3 is still holding strong and continues to impress!
