LRP has announced the ZZ.12C prototype will make its debut this week at the Onroad Euros!
OFFICIAL LRP PRESS RELEASE:
A potential Nitro Champion premieres! The prototype of the upcoming LRP ZZ.12C Ceramic engine will compete in toughest conditions. It’ll be raced by Ronald Völker and Teemu Leino.
No compromises, no hesitation! This engine has the potential to become a real champion. Therefore, it’ll premiere under the toughest conditions of racing at the 1/10 Scale European Championship from August, 15th to 20th, in Ettlingen / Germany.
LRP driver Ronald Völker will rely on the new engine. Ronald is a very successful electric onroad racer. He already won many prestigious national and international titles. The multiple European Champion is looking for a new challenge: "I’m looking forward to start at a nitro race. Contrary to electric racing, strategy and pit stops are decisive factors."
Ronald was already able to put his enhanced nitro racing skills into the spotlight. He finished second at the European Nitro Challenge in Hockenheim / Germany, only a hair behind Patrick Schäfer. A great success in a competition with that many nitro specialists.
LRP driver Teemu Leino will use the LRP ZZ.12C Ceramic prototype in Ettlingen as well. Teemu doesn’t have to stand back from his teammate at all. The Finish top driver also came to European Champion honours in electric racing. In addition, he’s already experienced in nitro racing. At the last 1/10 Scale Euros 2010 in Gothenburg / Sweden, he finished seventh in a top-class field.
Dirk Stammler is the third LRP driver at the 1/10 Scale Euros 2011 in Ettlingen. LRP team driver Dirk is one of the best nitro pilots in Germany. He won the Vice European Champion title B 2010. Dirk will also rely on the LRP ZZ.12C Ceramic prototype.
With the new LRP ZZ.12C Ceramic nitro engine, LRP doesn’t enter unknown territory. LRP’s Z12R Team engines enthused the scene by winning uncountable races worldwide. The new one is designed to continue this success story.
The LRP ZZ.12C Ceramic has been designed completely from scratch. The use of high-end components and latest production technologies result in an engine that is ready for top results on the highest level of competition.
We are sure: this engine will make history as well! Starting on August, 15th in Ettlingen / Germany.
