After going 2 for 2 in Pro Arena Truck and Electric Buggy, Jesse Robbers was looking to make it a clean sweep of the 2011 CRCRC Midwest Nitro Championships with a victory in the premiere class - Pro Buggy. Ryan Maifield thought otherwise though, and he stopped Robbers from making the 2011 CRCRC Midwest Nitro Championships a clean sweep. Maifield and Robbers went neck-and-neck in Pro Arena Truck all the way to the wire, and the duo didn't disappoint fans in the Pro Buggy class - they did the same thing for the first 40 minutes of the 45 minute main, swapping leads numerous times. With about 5 minutes remaining, Maifield was able to stretch out a cushion of about 10 seconds...not enough to be "checked out, gone," but still enough to be comfortable and drive conservatively to secure the win.ADVERTISEMENT | ADVERTISE WITH US
