Mugen has announced the release of the all-new updated MBX6R buggy. The new buggy is the race winning MBX6 platform with the addition of several new upgrades.
As you can see in the photos below, one of the major additions to the new car is the forward mounted battery pack. Many of the team drivers have been seen running "home-made" battery mounts to put the weight forward, but it is no longer a weekend project to build your own as the MBX6R comes with a fresh new forward mounted battery tray. The new kit also includes the 5mm XL chassis that was released this past year. Aside from the major new upgrades, here is a list of all the MBX6R new features:
