PROTOform Race Report:
Three-time defending 1/12th Scale World Champion Naoto Matsukura showed off his touring car skills this past weekend, claiming victory at the JMRCA Touring car Japan Nationals.
The teenage phenom’s PROTOform LTC-R was dominant throughout the event at the PLATPIA Wangan Circuit in Okayama, first TQ’ing the Super Expert Class and then securing the title with wins in the first two A-Main legs. PROTOform team driver Ronald Volker continued his strong run of podium finishes, winning the 3rd A-main leg and finishing 2nd overall ahead of Japan’s Akio Sobue.
