New Avid RC B84 and T7 Forged Carbon Shock Tower Options

Avid RC has released new T7 Forged Carbon Towers for buggy length shock conversions, as well as a few different forged carbon tower options for the B84.

The T7 Forged Carbon Front Shock Tower Conversion allows you to run your Avid or AE buggy shocks on your truck to lower CG. Made from 4mm forged carbon fiber, large chamfered edges to help prevent splitting, pocket lightening, cross member supports, and AV machined logo.

Tips

We found the truck performs best with standard stroke lengths with no internal limiters.

The B84 Forged Carbon Front Shock Tower in standard height for dirt, and -4mm for carpet. The Rear Shock Tower in standard height for dirt, and the carpet version is -2mm, features our dual purpose 2n1 system that allows you to run the kit camber link holes or the optional vertical mounts (we removed the top kit camber link holes because they are never used in order to maintain the vertical mount geometry),made from 4mm forged carbon fiber, large chamfered edges to help prevent splitting, pocket lightening, cross member supports, AV machined logo, and maintains the kit profile so the stock shock guards still work.

You may ask why the front is -4mm and not -2mm front and rear for the carpet version. That is because we found the B84 to have too much front uptravel.

Tips

We found the car performs best with shorter stroke lengths with 4mm front internal limiters and 2mm rear internal limiters (no external limiters) with the shortened carpet towers.
