Occasionally, there are items in the market that pair together so nicely. In the case of the new 2003 Chevy K5 Blazer body by JConcepts it was a great opportunity to blend an iconic piece of internet lore together with a popular suspension conversion kit already in the market. For this pre-runner style body, the team took a few liberties with wheel well openings to clear high-performance style desert terrain tires. Extended and bulkier fender flares create a bold look and a blended rear shell covering the entire rear section of the body looks factory.

The JConcepts body arrives as a clear polycarbonate shell and includes window mask, protective film, and detailed Chevrolet decal sheet. The cat-eye style headlights and lamps are very menacing and for collectors, the memorable cue of this design. To apply this body, it’s recommended to have the #PRO641500 Beams conversion kit added to the Axial SCX10 III. Those utilizing this body will need to source longer rear body mounts such as the AXI230025 for the vehicle or improvise as they see fit with their own solution.
