A new design from the JConcepts laboratory is the Boss tire available in sticky green compound. The narrow 1.38” carcass platform, 4.25” overall diameter designed especially for 1.9” wheels make this a legitimate threat in the Sporty Mini class. The tread layout is unique featuring a base pallet with overlaying bar tread to provide the flexibility necessary to grab, hold, and conquer a variety of terrain. JConcepts has inspired a new style featuring H and + versioned tread instances bringing hefty and flexy together.

A continuous carcass with minimal lettering and logo height looks strong while allowing competition friendly slide and grind. The pins themselves have radius built in giving an arch to the tread in the radial orientation and a bridge structure in the horizontal direction. The newly designed block and bar layout provides forward flex grip with sideload stability across the tread. The edges of the pins are held back from the sidewall area to minimize overhang. Exposed sidewall rubber material helps in dry conditions where the sticky compound can assist without hinderance.

Embossed JConcepts logos, item name, part number, and sizing help identify the performance item and heritage of the design. React open cell inserts have a medium feel and fills the tire appropriately to conditions.
