The all-new Serpent SRX8 Gen4 represents the next evolution of Serpent’s championship-winning 1/8th scale buggy platform. Developed through extensive track testing and rear-world racing experience, the Gen4 introduces a range of engineering innovations designed to improve balance, serviceability, durability and ultimately lap time performance.

The SRX8 Gen4 is far more than a simple update; it is a true evolution of the SRX8 platform, incorporating a wide range of new engineering solutions developed through extensive research, testing and real-world racing experience and the platform introduces several key innovations. From an all-new, radio box layout and center differential assembly to redesigned shocks, suspension brackets, and aero dynamics, each change was made with one goal in mind: to create a more precise, predictable, and competitive race machine

With countless hours of design development, track testing and continuous refinement behind it, the SRX8 Gen4 reflects Serpent’s commitment to innovation and performance. While many of the platforms proven elements-such as drive-train, suspension geometry and steering system-remain unchanged due to their exceptional performance and reliability, the new generation introduces critical improvements that enhance overall vehicle balance, adjustability, ease of use and overall performance. The result is a highly refined racing platform that gives drivers the tools and confidence needed to perform at the highest level of competition.

Key Innovations:

  • New narrow chassis layout
  • Multi-piece carbon radio tray
  • Redesigned Center differential Assembly
  • Geo-Matrix 25-position suspension geometry system
  • Updated flex characteristic transmission braces
  • Fuel tank with improve baffle system
  • New shock cartridge design
  • Lightened drivetrain components
  • 7075-t6 V2 Caster blocks
  • V2-heavy-duty driveshaft system
