New Team Velocity VS2 Competition Sprint Car Kit

Team Velocity set to release the VS2 1/10th Scale Sprint Car Kit, the first full kit offering from the RC Dirt Oval company formally known for their popular conversion kits.

The VS2 is an entirely new entry from a company that previously focused on conversion based oval cars. Velocity's first purpose built car has gone through a considerable amount of testing with goal to bring an easy to build, durable, tunable, and fast kit to the customer. Velocity plans to begin shipping in late June, with preorders opening up this Wednesday at 7 pm CST for the kit.

The innovative molded front arms use a carbon fiber mount to position the shock. This allows the same arm to be used on both sides of the car, in either a gull wing or flat arm configuration by swapping out plates. The arms also come ready for optional droop screws and sway bar when desired.

The steering assembly is tucked in between the front bulkheads, allowing for the battery to be placed further forward, which is desirable on high grip tracks. The bracing of the front end also leads to a more direct steering feel without the loss of rear grip that usually comes from stiffening the entire chassis.

The VS2 steering assembly is full Avid RC bearing supported, black anodized (and edged) aluminum. The design includes steel hat bushings to ensure free movement with no crushed bearings. The steering posts are notched on the bottom for ease of holding in place with the back side of the carbon camber wrench (that is also in the kit).

The goal of the kit is to provide a durable, competition ready car in one box. With standard features including:
