Novak is pleased to announce two new speed controls – the EDGE 2S Brushless and the Timbuk2 Crawler Brushless. Both ESCs are affordable and small in size. Also included in this announcement are two new modules—Smart-Stop Auto-Detect Module 2S-4S and 5A Universal BEC.

Edge out the competition with Novak’s new racing ESC! Novak’s new EDGE 2S Brushless ESC is small, lightweight and perfect for 1/10th and 1/12th scale on-road, off-road and 2WD short course vehicles, and is especially ideal for vehicles with limited space for electronics. In addition to being the smallest racing ESC under $100, the EDGE 2S includes full on-board programming, built-in temperature monitoring, thermal overload protection, and built-in voltage cut-off circuitry. This ESC also meets ROAR Sportsman guidelines for fair competition. Two models are available: #1850 is factory-wired with a Traxxas battery and gold-plated Bullet motor plugs; #1851 is factory-wired with a Tamiya-style battery and gold-plated Bullet motor plugs. Timbuk2 Crawling Brushless ESC (#1832) Timbuk2 /Ballistic Crawler Brushless System – 18.5T (#3225)

Move over Goat 2S, there is a new kid in town. Novak’s new Timbuk 2 Crawling Brushless ESC offers improved on-board programming and advanced MOSFET technology in a smaller size. In fact, the Timbuk2’s footprint is 40% smaller than the Goat 2S. The Timbuk2 ESC is for use with 2S LiPo and is also available in a cost-saving system with the Ballistic Crawler 18.5T Brushless Motor. Shipping in August 2011!

Smart-Stop Auto-Detect LiPo Cut-Off Module – 2S-4S (#5476)

Novak’s popular Smart-Stop Module just got smarter! This all-new module auto-detects the LiPo battery voltage -- 2S, 3S, or 4S -- and prevents the battery pack from going below the critical safety voltage. The design has also been improved to work with a broader range of ESCs, including Traxxas ESCs. Shipping in July 2011!

5-Amp Universal BEC – 2S (#5465)

Novak is reintroducing its #5465 5-Amp BEC. This module is for 2S applications, and ideal for use with heavy-duty servo applications to provide 6 volts and 5 amps of consistent power to the servo and receiver throughout the charge. Now Available!
