Last summer I took my extreme lack of experience, and annoyance in the fact that no one wanted to run 10th scale in my region as a challenge. This challenge culminated into a series where I hoped enough other guys in my area (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana) were also annoyed they couldn't play with their small electric toy cars. I guess I was right, we just finished the winter itteration of the series which ran over the last five months and each race during season one and season two had 70+ entries with the largest having 95 entries. Big thank you to everyone who supported the Southern Winter Payout Series. We gave out over $3500 over five races. No one got rich including myself or the five tracks, Indy RC World, Thornhill Racing Curcuit, 405 Raceway, T&T Raceway, and Oklahoma Hobbies, but we had a good time and people seemed to have fun.
