Amongst the sea of 1/8 scale buggies present here in Argentina, the Kyosho camp seems to have the most buttoned down cars with the least amount of prototype parts dangling off of them. Some manufactures want nothing to do with the press and their cars at this event which I’m sure is largely due to the fact that either to car is nestled deep into the prototype stages and could never see the light of day or fear of public scrutiny because they’re running different manufactures parts on their cars in order to improve drivability or reliability. With that said, we caught up with Kyosho’s young Swedish driver David Ronnefalk and his MP9 TKi3.

From the photos, David’s car is pretty plain Jane featuring off the shelf Kyosho parts, Ko PROPO servos and push button On/Off switch, Orion 3-port engine, and AKA tires. At the moment David is seating 28th overall after two rounds of qualifying. Lets take a close look into David’s TKi3 MP9.
