RC Nitro Pro iTunes App

 

We have been turned onto a very nifty app for our iPhone to use at the track! David Mills of Ashdown Apps has created an all-new app known as RC Nitro Pro. The new app is designed to help you tune and tweak your engines to perfection as recommended by the various manufacturers!

 

A reference guide containing nitro engine settings and information for radio control vehicles as well as a handy pitstop calculator for nitro racers.

The pitstop calculator helps you to calculate when to pit for fuel in your nitro R/C races. Simply enter in how much fuel you've been using and it'll work out when you should be stopping to make things easier for your mechanic. It will suggest a sensible pitting interval as well as risky suggestions. You can quickly see how many fuel stops you can save by risking it... but will your car make the distance!

If you’re having problems starting or running your nitro vehicle, the best place to start is by setting the carburettor back to the default factory settings.

Carburettor needle settings are provided for every engine listed and where possible we’ve also provided the suggested fuel nitro content and optimum running temperature.

The app lists the engines either by vehicle or engine manufacturer so you can easily find the settings you are looking for. You can even bookmark your engines for faster access.

Currently there are 350+ engines listed for multiple manufacturers. The download section of the app allows you to update the database when more engine details are available.

Extreme care has been taken to ensure that all the information within the app is correct as the data has been collected only from distributors and manufacturer documentation. The information is provided as-is and we accept no liability for issues resulting from incorrectly adjusting your engine.
