ROAR NATS: Tessmann fastest in second round of Truck, points leader at halfway point [VIDEO]

XRAY's Ty Tessmann drove his O.S. Speed-powered, Pro-Line-equipped XT8 2017 to the top of the second Truck-class qualifying round, moving him to the top of the provision points standings with two heats remaining. Here are the results from Q2, the replay of Ty's run and the current points standings.

After the race, Tessmann commented that the track is perhaps in the best shape it has been in terms of traction - and that the rougher sections didn't seem to matter as much in Truck. Behind him, fellow former champion Ryan Cavalieri had his best run of the weekend to finish second, less than two seconds back; he was happy with both the performance of his Team Associated RC8T3 as well as his choice of JConcepts tires for the conditions. Despite not being totally happy with adjustments made to his Tekno RC truck, Ryan Lutz finished third to improve on his seventh-place finish in the first round yesterday.
