Pit photo confirms Maifield at Yokomo and Mugen Seiki

A photo posted to RC Car Action's Instagram feed shows Ryan Maifield at OCRC Raceway wearing a Mugen Seiki hat and a t-shirt with Yokomo listed along with JConcepts and Team Orion. Maifield is shown talking to now-teammate Atsushi Hara as the two prepare for the upcoming Reedy Race of Champions at the indoor track.

The photo was shot by RCCA editor Carl Hyndman, a SoCal local, and we understand Maifield has driven his Yokomo buggies on the track with other racers able to watch - though this was the first photo to surface on social media.

Official announcements are expected any minute.
